We are beyond grateful for this opportunity! This is the 1st time that we've utilized this platform and the ease of the application, along with the entire experience has been absolutely a blessing! I'm so glad to be a part of this amazing journey!

I have had several students apply for grants and scholarships through the ����Ӱ�� and this year I decided I should apply as well! I am excited to use this grant to create more STEAM opportunities for my students this school year!

Receiving this grant is an honor and a reminder that our journeys are never individual. As an educator and doctoral student, I carry my community, my students, and my experiences with me in every step of my learning. Support like this makes it possible for me to continue growing while staying rooted in the work that matters most: serving others and strengthening opportunities for the communities that shaped me. This experience will allow me to deepen my understanding of place-based learning and culturally responsive teaching in a global context, and more importantly, to bring that learning back. I see this opportunity through the lens of reciprocity. What I gain, I am responsible for sharing. What I learn, I am committed to returning to the educators and students I serve so it can continue to grow beyond me. To students and fellow educators, I would say this: your path may not always be easy, but it is meaningful. Stay connected to your purpose, to your community, and to the reasons you began. When we continue learning, not just for ourselves but for others, we create change that lasts beyond us. The knowledge I carry forward is only meaningful if it finds its way back home. I am truly thankful for this wonderful blessing that was bestowed upon me and my cross-country team for this monetary gift in the form of a grant. ����Ӱ�� has been a truly awesome program to be a part of that I try to share with my students as a teacher, advisor, and coach. I am truly honored to be awarded the ����Ӱ�� Claes Nobel Educator of the Year Award. This recognition represents more than a personal achievement; it affirms the importance of student wellness, social-emotional learning, and the role educators play in creating spaces where students feel seen, supported, and empowered. This opportunity would allow me to continue expanding meaningful counseling and wellness initiatives, including mindfulness-based supports that complement students’ academic journeys. In a rigorous early college environment, students need more than academic preparation; they need tools to manage stress, build resilience, and strengthen emotional intelligence. Every initiative is rooted in the belief that when students are supported emotionally and mentally, they are better prepared to thrive academically, personally, and beyond the classroom. The ����Ӱ�� Claes Nobel Educator of the Year Award would support continued professional training, including participation in professional development conferences, and provide additional tools to help me remain an effective, innovative, and responsive school counselor. This opportunity would allow me to further contribute to the field through student-centered programming, evidence-based practices, and continued advocacy for mental health in schools.
