Thank you so much for providing funds to support our second year of this important trip. We are very grateful.

A fellow teacher introduced me to ����Ӱ��. She was awarded a $1000 grant from the organization and spoke with great admiration about her experience. Last school year I applied for a grant but was not successful. After reading about other candidates experience with ����Ӱ��, I was encouraged to apply again this school year. I was excited to receive the email of me being a successful recipient of the grant. I am grateful of the honor. I will share my experience with other teachers and encourage them to also join the organization.

I am beyond grateful to ����Ӱ�� for awarding me the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion grant. This grant is an incredible support for my Theatre program and will make a meaningful impact in the lives of my students. Thank you ����Ӱ�� for your commitment to arts education and for believing in the power of theatre to transform lives. I can't wait to put this grant to work at the Texas Thespian festival and I look forward to sharing the results of your investment with our community.

Receiving this grant from the National Society of High School Scholars is both an honor and a powerful encouragement in my journey as an educator. This opportunity will allow members of our DECA chapter to travel and compete at the DECA International Conference, giving them invaluable experiences that will enhance their leadership, business skills, and future careers. Democracies cannot stand without quality education for all. Over the past years, I believe it has been challenging for all educators to endure those who would attack the important, vital work we do on a daily basis. The public is often blind to all that we provide our students and their families. Who feeds and clothes our students when their families cannot? Your public schools. Who provides mental health services and tries to keep our students safe and healthy? Your public schools. Who is trying to provide innovative rigor and opportunity? Your public schools. Without these essential services, our communities would be significantly less safe, and we would all struggle to thrive. Thank you for celebrating all of the educators and students who work tirelessly to better our communities. Thank you for understanding that quality education is the heart and soul of greatness.

Receiving this grant is an honor and a reminder that our journeys are never individual. As an educator and doctoral student, I carry my community, my students, and my experiences with me in every step of my learning. Support like this makes it possible for me to continue growing while staying rooted in the work that matters most: serving others and strengthening opportunities for the communities that shaped me. This experience will allow me to deepen my understanding of place-based learning and culturally responsive teaching in a global context, and more importantly, to bring that learning back. I see this opportunity through the lens of reciprocity. What I gain, I am responsible for sharing. What I learn, I am committed to returning to the educators and students I serve so it can continue to grow beyond me. To students and fellow educators, I would say this: your path may not always be easy, but it is meaningful. Stay connected to your purpose, to your community, and to the reasons you began. When we continue learning, not just for ourselves but for others, we create change that lasts beyond us. The knowledge I carry forward is only meaningful if it finds its way back home.
